Featured grant recipient:
Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable AgricultureWe give funds to Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA), a nonprofit that works to make agriculture and food systems in Pennsylvania better for the environment and human health.
In 2009, PASA used a Profits for the Planet grant to help fund its 18th Annual Farming for the Future Conference. PASA was able to increase the number and variety of lectures and workshops it offered at the 2009 conference. The group brought in more than 150 experts to help educate 1,926 conference attendees about sustainable agriculture methods.
